Sukhumvit Road runs east for kilometers, but for visitors “Sukhumvit” usually means the stretch around Nana and Asok: a dense mix of hotels, malls, restaurants from every cuisine, and nightlife. Terminal 21 sits right on the BTS/MRT interchange at Asok.

Why stay here

  • The BTS–MRT interchange at Asok gets you almost anywhere.
  • Easy airport access — Makkasan (Airport Rail Link) is one MRT stop away.
  • Huge choice of hotels and serviced apartments at every budget.

What to do

  1. Benjakitti Forest Park — elevated boardwalks through wetland, right behind Asok.
  2. Terminal 21 food court — one of the best-value meals in the city.
  3. Soi 11 for bars and late-night food.
  4. EmQuartier and Emsphere at Phrom Phong for dining and design.

Local tip: Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy are red-light areas. If you’re traveling with family, look at hotels around the even-numbered sois past Asok or towards Phrom Phong.

Getting here

  • From Suvarnabhumi: Airport Rail Link to Makkasan, then one MRT stop to Sukhumvit. Compare taxi vs train.
